Easily parallizable math problems

Postby yqiang » Tue Oct 17, 2006 4:52 pm

Hi,
I am looking for some easily parallizable math problems to tackle. It seems that most "search" problems can be parallized trivially. Can anyone give me some examples of those and others (not looking for factoring prime numbers here) :)

Thanks,
Yi

I don't know if they are "easy," but this discussion of Lattice Boltzmann Methods may give you some ideas.
