FightAIDS@home published Volume 2 of its newsletter on November 29. The project is testing the top 40 compounds from Experiment 1a in a laboratory. As of November 29, 2006, 5 of the 40 compounds "show interesting activity in inhibiting [several wild type and mutant] proteases." The project has completed experiments 2 through 4 since June, 2006, and has completed 50% of experiment 5.

as of December 1, "about 600 [of Stardust@Home's] high-resolution focus movies of candidate extraterrestrial tracks" have been created. The movies will be analyzed at Berkeley. The project is also studying ways to rescan these track movies using transmitted light.
